You invest your hard-earned dollars in insurance coverage for one reason only: so that you can be confident that you will be protected and supported in case you ever have a claim.

At Baird MacGregor, we view claim support as a crucial investment in the important services our clients need. We believe a full-time, dedicated claims department is central to supporting your claim experience. The members of our Claims Team are experienced professionals, who will do their best to guide you through the claim process.

In the Event of a Claim:

• Take whatever action is necessary to prevent further loss, or damage without placing yourself or others at risk.
• When necessary, contact authorities, ie: fire, police, etc. as soon as possible.
• Report the claim to your Insurer or your Broker as soon as possible.
• When possible, take photographs to record any damages, etc. Do not take photos of injured parties.
• Do not agree to any voluntary payments.
• When possible, allow your adjuster to review damages prior to commencing repairs.
• Do not dispose of damaged property until authorized by your adjuster.

Reporting your Claim:

We will be happy to speak with you and you can contact us via our office numbers and email.

Homeowners and Personal Vehicle:

In most cases your insurance company will want to speak with you about the claim detail. The claim reporting option for your insurer are noted on your pink slip or policy.

Business Clients:

If you have been advised of a dedicated contact number or that you should contact your insurer directly, please report your loss to that number.
